I have found a workaround to my problem, by disabling secure boot in the bios. However, they are named properly (Razer DeathAdder mouse, etc.) I could still remote in using chrome remote desktop though, and when I checked device manager all my devices are unable to be used because they can't be digitally signed. SO I upgraded to Windows 10 and immediately found that my mouse and keyboard were no longer working.
